Mark Dishner had the car to beat and drove off for a decisive win. The third round at Zandvoort had Jake Coombs on pole. Jake and Justin Elmore fought for a few laps trading similar lap times, but yet another pit road issue let to Justin capturing his first win of the season. Nurburging saw Mark Dishner carry home his second win of the season. Lee Huber and Justin Elmore got into an incident on the last lap battling for the final podium position. Hungary saw Liam Brookes take a courageous dive on turn one, collecting several cars in the incident. Jake Coombs fought his way back up to second place. Lee Huber led several laps, but had a spin giving the lead to Aaron Turner. Aaron went on to capture his first victory of the season. Leading up to the season finale at Kyalami the top four in points were separated by just a mere six points! With a reverse grid based on the points standing made the fight that much more intriguing. The race started off and Jake had a great start. Dylan Griffiths started on the front row and checked out early in the race. On the third lap Justin made contact with Matt Pfender causing both to spin. Two laps later in the same corner Matt and Justin had contact again. This time sending Justin off the track. Aaron and Jake had a hard fought battle for second place, but Jake was on a mission. About halfway through the race Lee Huber got loose and had a massive crash, ending his chances for the championship. Justin had fought his way back up to fourth place battling Aaron for the last podium spot. After several laps Justin made the pass. On the final lap Jake finally caught Dylan, but just couldn't get past him. Dylan took home his first win of the season in the finale. Jake kept his lead on the points to take home the inaugural championship. Congratulations to Jake Coombs for winning the championship. We look forward to the start of the second season!
